Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Ostomy Care Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in wound care and ostomy management, providing quality care to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care to patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families about wound care, ostomy management, and continence issues.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Wound Care specialty.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification necessary for all RNs in the WOC Nurse role.
- Wound care certification (WCC, CWS, or CWCN) is required; ostomy certification is optional.
