This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; working at the hospital one Saturday per month.
Job Description
The Travel Physical Therapist will work in an outpatient clinic setting to help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility. Responsibilities include examining patients, developing treatment plans, using therapeutic techniques, and educating patients on how to manage their conditions and promote long-term health benefits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
- Teach patients methods for managing their condition to achieve long-term health benefits.
- Implement fitness- and wellness-oriented programs to promote healthier lifestyles.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- BLS certification required.
- Current NM physical therapy licensure or pending NM state licensure.
- FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED.
