This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
This position requires availability for shifts from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday, with occasional on-call duties.
Job Description
The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures according to established protocols, demonstrating independent judgment to apply appropriate scanning techniques for both adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include preparing and screening patients and objects for magnet safety and assuming responsibility for designated areas and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI procedures adhering to protocols set by radiologists.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Utilize advanced MRI technology including Philips Ingenia 1.5 and Spectris Solaris Injector.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC and FUJI PACS.
- Work independently with no constant supervision on technical details.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 5-7 years of MRI experience.
- ARRT Certification in MRI and BLS certification required.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility.
