Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring a high standard of patient care in a rapidly-paced hospital environment. The RN will work in a facility that treats over 50,000 patients annually, participating in a diverse range of surgical services and emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to establish patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and wellness practices.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility policies.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to enhance nursing skills.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license in the state of West Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Additional certifications may be requested by the client, as necessary.
