Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced Level 2 Trauma Center with high acuity patients. Our emergency department averages 220 patients per day and features 54 beds. The role requires a strong background in emergency nursing and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the emergency department.
• Manage and monitor patients with critical conditions, including trauma and various medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Assist with medical procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management and care.
• Document patient care in the electronic health record system, EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (pending certification is acceptable).
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Travel experience in an emergency department is highly preferred.
• Local candidates are welcome; however, locals may not be accepted at a different rate.
• Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations are required with no exemptions.
• Must have completed a 2-Step PPD test.
