Job Description
Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced unit specializing in orthopedic, neuro, and pediatric care. Our unit offers a supportive environment focused on patient advocacy and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-operative care for orthopedic and spine surgical patients.
- Administer treatment plans and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- PALS certification and experience in caring for pediatric patients is preferred.
- Familiarity with post-operative orthopedic care is a plus.
