Day Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM; on-call required (approximately four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule).
Job Description
The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment, specifically within a Level 2 trauma surgical unit. The RN will be integral in supporting surgical teams across various specialties.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team including Service Line Experts and OR Support Technicians.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to best practices in the operating room.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess BLS certification.
- Current RN license and certifications specific to role and aligned with state and federal regulations (e.g., CST).
- Level 2 trauma experience is a must; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
- Experience in multiple surgical specialties, particularly in orthopedic, neuro, general/GYN/urology (including DaVinci), vascular, and thoracic procedures.
- Expertise in spinal and orthopedic procedures is preferred.
