Schedule

3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts with on-call every fourth weekend and one day per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of fluoroscopic modalities and demonstrate the ability to think critically in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists during complex cases, scrubbing side by side with them.
• Operate floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedures.
• Provide critical thinking support during neuro-interventional and complex cases.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention measures for procedural trays.
• Ensure effective communication through closed loop communication protocols.
• Manage groin sites post-intervention.
• Document in electronic medical records and manage images through the Sectra/PACs system.
• Collaborate positively within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current ARRT certification and NJ state radiographic licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or accredited BLS program.
