Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to join one of the most advanced cardiovascular programs in the nation. This is a rare opportunity to lead operations in a high-volume Cath Lab, featuring cutting-edge interventional procedures and a robust regional cardiogenic shock program.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs to ensure optimal workflow and patient throughput.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of Cath and EP lab personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, including clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and the adoption of best practices.
• Serve as a key liaison with hospital leadership to contribute to strategic planning and service line growth.
• Champion innovation in cardiovascular care by supporting advanced procedures and technologies.
• Support regional cardiogenic shock and structural heart programs through clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee the expansion and integration of new procedure rooms to accommodate growing patient volumes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience managing large volume labs (4-5 labs minimum).
• Critical Care/High Risk experience required.
