Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg position. The ideal candidate will have a background in acute hospital nursing and be able to effectively manage a varied patient load while providing high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
- Monitor patients' health status and respond to their needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Assist in procedures and manage post-operative care as needed
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- New York State RN License (required at time of submission)
- Minimum of 2 years acute hospital nursing experience
- Prior travel experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Candidates must be willing to float as needed based on skill set
