12-hour night shifts; every other weekend required and three out of six major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our psychiatric unit for 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential rehab settings and a solid background in mental health and addiction recovery. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions (no admissions overnight).
• Administer medications through a med pass system (patients come to the desk).
• Perform patient assessments and lead medication education groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.
• Ensure patient compliance with facility rules and manage noncompliant situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar psychiatric or residential rehab setting.
• IV experience required for some units.
• Comfortable administering Suboxone and Methadone in detox settings.
