This is a Night 3x12-Hour shift position from 19:00 to 07:30.
Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced clinical setting. Our ideal candidate will be skilled in managing high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, with a strong emphasis on patient education and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Perform triage of obstetrical patients and assist with high-risk deliveries.
- Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and assess maternal well-being.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including Cesarean sections.
- Educate parents on postpartum care, breastfeeding support, and infant assessments.
- Maintain central lines and administer medications as prescribed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current New York RN License.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate.
