Job Description
The ICU Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and executing essential care protocols.
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the execution of STEMI and stroke protocols.
- Administer conscious sedation, chest tubes, and monitor for emergencies.
- Perform intubations and manage patient codes.
- Utilize equipment such as Philips monitors, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, and Verathon bladder scanner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of recent ICU experience.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
- Previous experience in a charge role is preferred.
