Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend and holiday rotations. No call required.

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Night Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit. The candidate will be responsible for the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias, peripheral and PICC line management, and titration of drips. The RN will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with various medical conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort while delivering exceptional clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry.
• Manage and administer blood products.
• Perform patient assessments and implement care plans.
• Provide non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration.
• Responsible for starting and maintaining IVs, including IV insulin protocols.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed.
• Care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including strokes, renal disorders, and sepsis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care unit experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Active RN license required for submission.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry is mandatory.
