Job Description
The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in high-risk obstetrics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating in C-sections and recovering high acuity patients, as well as providing a safe and supportive environment for patients during labor and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Circulate during C-sections and assist in surgical procedures as needed.
- Provide recovery care for high acuity patients.
- Follow established staffing ratios to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize appropriate equipment, including GE fetal monitors.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech and CPNS.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, NRP.
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate preferred.
