Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, including proficiency in administering chemotherapy and other infusion therapies. This role involves working with a daily caseload of up to 70 patients while maintaining a safe and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments in an infusion center setting.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
- Perform nursing assessments and documentation using Cerner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in oncology or infusion nursing.
- Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state; pending licenses accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Oncology Nurse Certification (ONC) preferred.
- Experience with CBCT, kV/mV imaging, and external beam therapy techniques.
