Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse for our Detox Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in detox or will be considered if they have Emergency Room (ER) experience. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for individuals undergoing detoxification from substances.
• Conduct bedside shift reports and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms using CIWA/COWS protocols.
• Assist with bedside procedures such as PICC lines and midlines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using HMS/Medhost EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Certification in BLS, ALS, and PALS is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with CIWA/COWS protocols is preferred.
