Job Description
This is a full-time position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) covering night shifts. The role has become available due to a staff member leaving for health reasons, and we are seeking a skilled candidate to join our team during this time of significant personnel shortage.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients across a diverse range of units including NICU, PICU, and acute care pediatrics.
- Administer treatment plans as prescribed by physicians and contribute to patient care evaluations.
- Utilize respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP devices, among others.
- Respond to emergencies and provide care in critical situations.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Schedule
This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a guaranteed weekly hours total of 36 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess a valid RRT certification and maintain current BLS certification.
- ACLS and NRP certification are preferred, particularly for those working within NICU.
- A minimum of 3 years of acute care experience is required.
