Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM, 4 days a week, with on-call responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with extensive experience to join our team. This role requires proficiency in operating C-Arm machines and performing essential lead maintenance. The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in various cardiac procedures, including PCI, and manage devices such as Impellas and balloon pumps. Responsibilities will also include scrubbing for interventional radiology procedures, including nephrostomy tube, PICC, permacath, pacemaker insertions, and cerebral thrombectomy.

Responsibilities

• Operate C-Arm machines and perform routine lead maintenance
• Assist in catheterization procedures and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
• Perform device insertions including Impella and balloon pumps
• Scrub for interventional radiology procedures such as nephrostomy tube insertions and peripheral venous access
• Maintain compliance with relevant certification and safety standards
• Respond promptly within 30 minutes for on-call duties

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Cath Lab experience is mandatory
• Certification in fluoroscopy is required
• ARRT credentials with priority given to NJ ARRT license holders
• Ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of radiology equipment and procedural protocols
