Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, managing a patient ratio of 1:5. This role requires a 2-year minimum experience, and first-time travelers will not be accepted. The RN will be responsible for floating within the specialty and covering lower acuity needs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and document using Epic charting system.
- Perform wound care and manage post-operative care for various procedures.
- Engage in patient education and provide support to patients and families.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in MD or Compact License.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Travel nursing experience is required.
