Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Birthing Center. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. This position requires flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the unit and the patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the areas of Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and adjust schedules as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care.
- Utilize Epic for documentation and patient management based on recent experience.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Vermont - required at time of submission.
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications are required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP).
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Experience in floating to Med Surg and ED units is necessary.
Schedule / Shift
This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring availability for every other weekend and two out of four holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
