Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00). Weekends may be required occasionally.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist with experience in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, a team player, and a hard worker, capable of floating between units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients in an acute care environment.
- Assist with patient mobility, rehabilitation exercises, and overall patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Washington State PT License required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required; inpatient rehab (IPR) experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of patient ratios (10-12 pts/day) and ability to manage time effectively.
