Schedule
Will work 4x10 hour shifts, 7am-5pm. On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week.
Job Description
The Procedural RN/Neuro IR RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care within the interventional radiology setting. The nurse will support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Administer sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
- Provide critical care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
- Document patient care and charting in Epic system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab preferred.
- Neuro experience and critical care experience highly preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- South Carolina RN License preferred; candidates with a pending license will be considered.
