Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Transition Unit (CTU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the aptitude to work independently while effectively multitasking.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Clinical Transition Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and respond to alarms.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in MedSurg, Cardiac Telemetry, or Emergency Department preferred.
- Ability to work weekends as part of a 2-weekend work requirement per month.
