Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex ICU patients, including those requiring ventilatory support. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams and participating in bedside shift reports as part of our patient care strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a mixed ICU environment with a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.
• Manage complex cases including post-operative CABG, impellas, and balloon pumps.
• Deliver respiratory treatments including inhalers and nebulizers.
• Conduct bedside shift reports to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Participate in floating to other units as required by facility policy, including emergency or PCU care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 36 months of RN experience with at least 12 months in an ICU setting.
• Previous travel nursing assignments preferred, particularly in environments utilizing Meditech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and advanced nursing skills such as CRRT, hemodynamics, and phlebotomy.
• BSN preferred; advanced certifications (e.g., TNCC) are a plus.
