Schedule
This position offers a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Expect to work 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care in line with hospital protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in Labor and Delivery.
- Assist in couplet care and LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum).
- Monitor fetal health and perform interventions as necessary.
- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current certifications: NRP, BLS, and intermediate Fetal Monitoring; advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred.
- Some NICU experience is beneficial.
