Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after childbirth, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mothers and infants.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief options effectively.
- Support mothers through the labor process and provide emotional support.
- Perform necessary assessments and interventions throughout the labor and delivery process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Required certifications: NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (advanced is preferred).
- Couplet care and LDRP experience; some NICU experience is desirable.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
