Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Mother Infant Care unit, focusing on postpartum couplet care, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients. The role includes performing assessments, IV skills, blood draws, and foley insertion/management/removal. Additionally, the nurse will conduct newborn assessments, blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screenings, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments.
Responsibilities
- Care for postpartum patients and their infants in a couplet care environment.
- Administer IV medications and conduct blood draws.
- Manage and perform foley catheter insertions and removals.
- Perform newborn assessments and screening tests.
- Conduct glucose management and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments for newborns.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant Nurse.
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
