Schedule

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with holiday call rotation as needed.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist will support surgical procedures in various specialties, ensuring optimal patient care and efficient operating room processes. The role requires proficiency in assisting in orthopedic surgeries and may include responsibilities as a scrub and circulating technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by managing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform circulating duties as needed for surgeries.
• Provide support in turning over operating rooms between cases.
• Participate in call rotations, both weekday and weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current surgical tech certification through NBSTSA, NCCT, or AHA.
• Must hold either CSFA, CSA, or SA-C certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical tech role with specific orthopedics experience preferred.
• 2-3 previous travel assignments required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
