This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, working 4 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Days off during the week will vary, and there is an on-call requirement for these positions.
Job Description
The Invasive Cardiology department focuses on a range of procedures including catheterizations, electrophysiology cases, and complex vascular interventions. The team consists of skilled cardiologists, nurses, and technologists dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. The department is equipped with three procedural labs and a dedicated prep and recovery area.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
- Administering and monitoring procedural sedation.
- Managing patient care in the prep and recovery area.
- Participating in advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest treatments.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in invasive cardiology.
- Current certifications in ACLS & BLS are required.
- Experience with EPIC charting systems is preferred.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical/religious exemptions considered.
