Schedule

This position offers a 5x8 schedule with hours from 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7 AM to 5 PM on Friday.

This is a 16-week contract position.

Job Description

As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, you will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. You will ensure the design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities while also serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers. Your practice will embody the values of patient and employee safety, maintaining compliance with organizational standards and professional codes of conduct. You will demonstrate clinical reasoning to meet established length of stay and provide superior quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student programs by providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 2+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Pelvic Health Specialty certification is a must.
