7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a mixed ICU setting. The candidate must be comfortable managing patients on ventilators and providing bedside shift reports. The environment will involve a mix of neuro and cardiovascular ICU cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators.
- Conduct bedside shift reports during patient handoffs.
- Proficiently read telemetry strips and administer respiratory treatments.
- Manage advanced procedures including CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and phlebotomy.
- Participate in post-op care for CABG and neuro procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 36 months of RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU setting.
- Previous successful travel nursing assignment preferred, ideally in a facility using Meditech.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
- Preferred: BSN and advanced certifications including TNCC.
