Job Description
Join our dynamic Med/Surg team where you will provide high-quality care to patients in a 30-bed unit. You will play a pivotal role in meeting the needs of patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience through your compassionate care and service recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide direct patient care as needed.
- Perform IV starts, NGT placement, and wound care.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and document patient information accurately using the Editech documentation system.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Participate in unit activities to maintain a positive and family-oriented environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN Licensure and BLS certification required.
- Experience with IV starts, NGT placement, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
- Ability to perform lab draws and other standard procedures required on the unit.
