This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
The MRI Technologist will work a schedule of 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 0630 to 1900. The position requires working every fourth weekend and taking weekend call every 12 weeks.
Job Description
The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality imaging services. This role involves utilizing Siemens and GE MRI equipment while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician requests.
- Maintain MRI equipment and ensure its operational efficiency.
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Document imaging results accurately in the electronic medical records system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of two years of MRI experience.
- ARRT certification in MRI (ARRT(MR)) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Ohio licensing as a Radiologic Technologist, if applicable.
- Experience with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse imaging software.
