Registered Nurse - Critical Care (Nights)

Schedule

This position requires working the night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with critical care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in critical condition, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay. You will work in a fast-paced environment on a 24-bed unit, floating between the HVU and PCU as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status, implementing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is required.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Medhost, with knowledge of Cerner being a plus.
