This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:45 - 17:15). One week day call per week; every 5th weekend call.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including but not limited to stents, angioplasty, and other specialized cardiovascular interventions. The technologist must be proficient in various imaging modalities and be ready to float to the Electrophysiology (EP) lab as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiology.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols.
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients during procedures.
- Document procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, Epic.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a STEMI/PCI facility.
- Must have ARRT certification in hand at the time of submittal.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- State licensure as required, with an Ohio license preferred.
- Experience with IV starts, EKGs, and various interventional procedures (e.g., IABP, Impella).
