Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - 12-Hour Nights

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift position to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, manage a diverse patient population, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
• Actively participate in unit operations, including shift duties and responsibilities.

Schedule

This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with weekends and holidays as scheduled. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to block scheduling are preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• BLS certification is required.
• NIHSS certification required for all RNs and LPNs.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are recommended but not required.
• Strong med-surg background with travel experience is essential.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week.
