Job Description

The Oncology Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments, including pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations, to enhance their quality of life and mobility. This role involves creating individualized, evidence-based exercise programs, providing patient education, and coordinating care with oncologists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement treatment sessions focusing on strength building, mobility, and balance improvement.
• Manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs throughout the cancer care continuum.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of current physical therapy experience.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Active New Hampshire or Compact Physical Therapy License is required.
• Certification in BLS (AHA) is required.
• Experience with EPIC and Expro software is required.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
