Registered Nurse - Days Shift

Schedule

Day Shift (7am - 7pm); 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no call, no holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care and develops individualized care plans. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring outcomes. Nurses collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure quality care, while delivering patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning. The RN practices within the Ohio RN scope of practice and nursing standards and is responsible for recognizing and responding to patient complications and changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans.
• Assess patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Deliver patient education and health counseling.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient safety compliance.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks, maintaining accountability for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred (training available).
