Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Days - 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with flexibility required. Additional on-call shifts include one night a week from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM and one 24-hour call on a Saturday or Sunday per 6-week schedule period.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide total patient care in a critical care setting, ensuring that patient safety and comfort are prioritized while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care in critical care areas such as PACU, ICU, or ED.
- Monitoring patient conditions and assessing needs to provide optimal care.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using Cerner and Surginet.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN Licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care setting.
- Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:1 based on patient needs.
