Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing rehabilitation for various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative rehabilitation environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Manage medication administration and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and recovery.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) using Cerner.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Active nursing licensure in Texas or a multistate license valid in Texas.
