Job Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work on the inpatient rehabilitation unit, with the possibility to float to the medical-surgical unit on occasion. The PTA will join a collaborative team of professionals that includes another Physical Therapist, PTA, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing therapy interventions and treatment plans.
- Provide direct care to patients recovering from various conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred.
