Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 5x8-hour format from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The schedule includes three weekend days every six weeks.
Job Description
The Inpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in various units including the Emergency Department, Orthopedic/Spine Unit, Rehabilitation Unit, Telemetry Unit, and Medical-Surgical Unit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation activities and home exercise programs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Kansas PT license is required.
- Experience with patient assessment and various rehabilitation techniques is preferred.
