Registered Nurse - Days 7a-7p

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift (7am - 7pm); 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no call, no holidays.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring outcomes. Collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families will be essential to ensure quality care. You will also deliver patient education, health counseling, and assist with discharge planning while practicing within the Ohio RN scope of practice and nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and respond to patient complications and changes in condition.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Report directly to the Department Manager with oversight from Nursing Leadership.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• 3+ years experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Experience providing patient-centered care and managing multiple priorities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
