Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 18:30 to 07:00, working 3x12-hour shifts with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) to provide excellent patient care in a medical surgical unit. The ideal candidate will work within a collaborative environment, managing a patient ratio of 1:5 for adults, providing direct nursing care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and pediatric patients in a medical surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform charting and documentation using the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for coordinated patient care.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a medical surgical setting is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
