Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patients facing medically complex conditions, including cardiopulmonary issues, neuro, and orthopedic cases.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients with various conditions.
- Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
Schedule
This position is available for day shifts, with weekly guaranteed hours ranging from 32 to 40. Weekend hours may be scheduled based on need and availability.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, particularly with cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
