4x10 hours, 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM. Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required, split evenly among the group and varying per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The OR Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures, collaborating with the surgical team, and adhering to protocols and best practices to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to surgical needs.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is sterile and functioning.
• Administer medications and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations in the operating room.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Prior experience in the operating room preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Additional certifications relevant to the surgical specialty may be required.
