Day shift, 4x10 hours, from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated OR RN to join our team for a day shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the operating room, collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are in the correct position and have received appropriate preoperative medications.
• Assist in the surgical procedures by handling instruments and supplies, as well as maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding the surgical process and postoperative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Previous experience as an OR RN is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
