Operating Room Nurse - Orthopedic Specialty

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the orthopedic specialty area, including total joints, sports, spine, podiatry, and hands. The nurse will work within a team in a high-paced environment, adhering to strict surgical protocols and delivering safe and effective care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures within the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties as required.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of operating room experience, specifically in General OR.
• 1-2 years of experience in orthopedic surgical procedures (Total Joints, Sports, Spine, Podiatry, Hands).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
