Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule / Shift
Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. The traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess 36 months of RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU setting. Responsibilities include caring for 1-3 ICU patients, managing patients on ventilators, and performing advanced procedures.
Responsibilities
- Caring for ICU patients with various medical conditions.
- Administering advanced treatments such as CRRT and Advanced Hemodynamics.
- Conducting bedside shift reports for patient handoffs.
- Performing procedures like post-op care for CABG, managing impellas and balloon pumps, and assisting with neuro procedures.
Required Experience
- 36 months RN experience with a minimum of 12 months in an ICU.
- Prior successful travel nursing assignment, preferably in a facility that uses Meditech.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
